How do I show my love to God ?
Every true believer loves God and wants to please Him by showing love for him, but there is a question: How can I show my love to God that God genuinely wants from us. Here we shall talk about some aspects that will enlighten this phrase ‘ how do I show my love to God ?
I always relate God to as our human father; being a worldly parent, we show affection to our children and vice versa, just as our heavenly father wants to be loved by His children. And we think primarily about how I can please my God.
Is practicing religion pleases God?
Well, the simple answer is By following God’s Word, we can show our love to God. We are obliged to follow God’s command but do these all religious practices like
- Going to church
- Giving tithes
- Regular Morning and evening prayers
- Fasting
- Charity
what God wants from us?
And so many other good deeds depict our deep love for him. Yes, above all, spiritual acts are so good, and God likes them. Hence the most important thing is our close personal relationship with God. An intimate relationship with God is the same as when we are desperate to be there in His presence.
This presence is mandatory in our heart then we don’t need any specific time or place to pray and meet him. We can pray in spirit every time and every way like the Word of God tells us.
Relation demands time and sincerity. Our close connection to God requires our time, truthfulness, and dedication. As much as we invest in a relationship, it is so durable in this relationship.
The best part of showing our love to God is faithfulness. God is himself so faithful, and He honors our commitment. A long-lasting relationship with God is significant.
He is our creator and knows us more from ourselves. Humans are imperfect in every aspect of their lives, and when we talk about all objective moralities and religious obligations, there are still impurities and flaws. He is well aware of our inconclusive parameters, but His eternal love overshadows everything.
